Welcome to The Link Driver Education Program
The Link Driver Education Program is for teenagers who are 15 years old and older. Our program is State of Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles approved. Our classroom is conveniently offered online along with actual behind the wheel driving time with our State of Indiana approved certified driving instructors. We partner with the following 7 area high schools: Centerville, Connersville, Hagerstown, Lincoln, Northeastern, Richmond and Rushville. You don't have to be a student of one of those high schools to be one of our students. We serve students from all over the Whitewater Valley and surrounding areas.
Students can sign up for our program as soon as they are 15 years old. With The Link Driver's Education Program, students will complete 30 hours of class room time online as well as 6 hours of behind the wheel training. We prefer to drive students in groups of 2-3 as this allows more time for teaching as well as more exposure to a variety of different driving situations. We offer a variety of drive times to fit your busy schedules. If for some reason, you are unable to find a drive time to work with your schedule, please call us at 765-377-7026. We also offer the waiver test for those students that would prefer to take their actual driving test with us instead of the BMV.
Please note: Summer is our busiest drive season. Due to COVID-19, the stay at home order that was in effect from mid-March until May, and the BMV requiring appointments and limiting in person transactions at their branches; many students are finding it difficult to get their permit in a timely manner. The delay in students being able get their permits is making it difficult for us to hold driving spots for students who do not already hold their permits. As a result, we can no longer hold summer drive spots for students who do not already hold their permit. This does not mean we cannot find time to schedule you.
Despite these challenges with getting your permit, you will still have time to complete your 6 hours of Behind the Wheel Instruction with one of our instructors. Per State of Indiana and BMV guidelines you must be 16 and 3 months old and have held your permit for at least 180 days before you can get your driver's license. Once you register up for driver education: you can take your permit test at the next available BMV appointment or when the BMV reopens to full capacity without requiring appointments; you can go ahead and work on and complete your online class; and once you have your permit, you can contact us to schedule your driving. We apologize for any inconvenience, unfortunately COVID-19 has affected all of us.
To sign up for our driver's education training program, you can register online here. Our driver ed program is convenient and reasonably priced. We currently are offering our lowest price ever for our program at just $375!
