On October 29th, an "illuminating" event took place in 3 of Connersville's elementary schools at the same time.

	That is when the 21st Century Afterschool program celebrated "Lights-on Afterschool."
Students shared with visitors at Grandview, Frazee, and Maplewood, what they like about Afterschool.



	Each student made crafts related to Lights on, including "light bulbs" and hats.

Academic Components: PassKey - Computer based instruction in math and literacy that is standards based CEC's Art Van - Traveling van and instructor providing standards based instruction The Link's Literacy, Math, and Science Centes which are standards based CEC's Science Van - Traveling van and instructor providing standards based instruction The Link's Homework Help

What happens at Afterschool?

Fun Activities: Recreation, Arts & Crafts, Plays & Skits, Music, Cooking, Games

Fun Academics: Computer activities, Arts Van (CEC), Science Van (CEC), Literature, Homework Time

All academic programs are geared toward helping your student do better in day school. We will share with you your student's progress.

Parents are welcome, and may visit any time withouth prior arrangements. We only ask that you check in with the site coordinator.
